Sharing & import

Sharing in Good Good Study Card needs no account and no server — export a file and send it however you like.

Export

• Share a whole deck: deck detail → ⋮ → Share, producing a .ggsdeck file
• Share a single card: card detail → ⋮ → Share, producing a .ggscard file
• Or visit ggscard.cn/decks/<id> to browse a deck online, download the .ggsdeck, or scan/copy the short ID to bring the deck straight into the app.

Files carry the full card content: Markdown text, images, and category colors.

Import

After receiving the file, choose Import in the app (or simply open the file):

1. The app parses it and shows a preview — deck name, card count, included images
2. Confirm to import; if a deck with the same name exists locally, rename or merge
3. If any image fails to import, the app reports it per-file without aborting the import

Files are fully interoperable across Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, and Windows — a deck exported on Android imports directly on an iPhone.

Importing from ggscard.cn

The app doesn’t just receive files — it can also pull decks straight from the website. Open ggscard.cn/decks/<id> (the short ID is at the top-right of the deck page) and there are two entry paths:

Scan the deck-page QR

The big QR at the center of the deck detail page encodes ggsc://import?deck=<id>:

• Scan it with your system camera or any QR app — opens the app directly to the preview screen
• Or tap the QR toolbar icon on the app’s Decks tab → choose Scan QR code to launch the in-app camera (works offline)

Paste the deck ID directly

From the import chooser, pick Enter deck ID, then paste the short ID (e.g. AB3X9K) from the top of the deck page at ggscard.cn/decks/<id>. The app downloads the full deck and shows the preview.

Single cards: scan the small QR in the share overlay

Every card tile has a share bubble in the top-right corner; opening it shows a small QR. Scanning it opens ggsc://import?card=<deckId>-c<8hex> — the <8hex> is the first 8 hex chars of the SHA256 of question + "\n" + answer (so editing the card changes its ID). The app synthesizes a single-card .ggscard and follows the same “receive file → preview → import” path. Useful for the “just this one card” lightweight case.

In other words, a share is a clean template: the recipient’s cards start fresh, and your own review history never leaves your device.

Collect from other apps

It works in reverse too: use the system share sheet in any app and pick Good Good Study Card to save text or images as a new card. With no decks yet, an “Inbox” deck is created automatically.
